It’s a New Day! More Changes!

Hey kids! So with all the new ideas that we have absorbed, the change continues. This is a change that I personally feel will be for the better both us as a show and for you the listener. My project for this show is to enhance the video aspect of this podcast so that you will all be able to see more than just a wide shot of the studio and our backs.

So on that note, the weekly live stream of the podcast will now be shown on UStream.tv. We are going to give this a test this week and then if things go well, then we will be bidding a sad farewell to Justin.tv. That site has served us well for a long time and we will be sad to see it go, but UStream’s user interface is awesome! So thank you everyone for sticking with us through all the recent changes. Keep on listening and we will see you all Thursday at 7:30pm!

On a side note, I had a bit a trouble trying to get audio from our Justin.tv stream on last weeks show, so the podcast of last week’s show will have a buzz in the background. Sorry for that guys, but it will be crystal clear this week!

The LAST Podcamp AZ 2011 Recap

Hey guys! Well we all took a trip down to the University of Advancing Technology to check out the lovely event that is Podcamp AZ. For those of you that don’t know, this is a conference, or should I say “unconference” that has to do with all things media. This year was the last Podcamp AZ apparently only in name. Next year it is going to be called “Tech Phoenix”. For any of you that are starting a podcast or even just interested in the idea should absolutely check it out!

We had a hell of a time there and actually had the chance to meet up with one of our listeners Kilo (@imkilo on Twitter). With Podcamp now behind us we have a couple new tricks up our sleeves. We are going to be making our way over to the tumblr-verse (http://thediazshow.tumblr.com/). Check that site out for new posts and pics. Both Cake and I pretty much have that attached to our hips so there will be some fun content there.

The last thing I wanna say is thank you everyone for your support. We love doing this podcast and you guys give us all the more reason to continue.
